You are right! I just tried to turn on the Edmonton game via my Espn log in but no dice.
The pace of playoff games is so much better. Everything's so much more intense, the crowd is more connected to the action. I love it.
Quite a first period in Edmonton. Edmonton definitely seems to be better prepared for playoff hockey. This version has more size and bite to go along with the speed and finesse. Early days of course, but they do look ready for a real run.
LA needs to wake up now or this will be over in 5.
Now 3-2 for Oilers. Kings showing more life. Kempe was really targetted physically early, but shrugged it off and has both King's goals.
Ha! Did I say early days? Kings tie it up in final seconds after a bad penalty to Bouchard. Bad in sense of unnecessary not bad call. OT! Got to love playoff hockey.
Kings score 3 unanswered goals, win 4-3 in OT.
2 OT starts in a few, Wild/Stars.
I should have listened to Yogi---It ain't over till it's over. Kings win in OT. Great pushback from L.A. I wish all games could be that entertaining/highly contested. But, let's face it. there would soon be no players left in the regular season at that pace. Now, what adjustments for game 2?
