TOP SCORERS HELP SHARKS EVEN WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL
Logan Couture (0-2—2), Brent Burns (2-0—2) and Joe Pavelski (0-1—1) – who rank first through third, respectively, in scoring in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs – each found the scoresheet to help the Sharks even the Western Conference Final at one game apiece.

* Couture (7-12—19 in 14 GP) established the Sharks record for points in a single postseason, besting the mark set by Igor Larionov in 1994 (5-13—18 in 14 GP). His 19 points also are four shy of matching last year’s playoff leaders (Tyler Johnson: 13-10—23 and Patrick Kane: 11-12—23).

* Burns (6-12—18 in 14 GP) set franchise records for goals and points in a single postseason by a defenseman, surpassing marks set by Dan Boyle in 2011 (4-12—16 in 18 GP) and Mike Rathje in 1995 (5 G in 11 GP). Burns also rewrote the Sharks’ record book during the 2015-16 regular season, setting single-season marks for goals (27), assists (48) and points (75) by a defenseman as well as shots on goal (353).

* Via Elias, Burns registered his second multi-goal game of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs (also Game 4 at NSH: 2-0—2) to become the 11th differentdefenseman in NHL history to record two such performances in one postseason – and second to record both such contests on the road (also Denis Potvin: 2 in 1975 w/ NYI).

* Pavelski (9-6—15 in 14 GP), who has notched at least one point in 10 of 14 games this postseason, shares the League lead with nine goals in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs – tied for the most in one year by a Sharks player.

JONES STELLAR AS SHARKS ADD TO ROAD SUCCESS
Martin Jones (26 SV) registered his second career postseason shutout to help the Sharks earn their third win in four visits to Scottrade Center overall in 2015-16, including victories in both regular-season matchups (Feb. 4: 3-1 W and Feb. 22: 6-3 W).

* Jones, who recorded his first playoff shutout in Game 7 of the Second Round vs. NSH (20 SV), became the second goaltender in Sharks history to post multiple clean sheets in a single playoff year (also Evgeni Nabokov: 3 in 2004).

* The Sharks became just the second team to shut out the Blues on home ice this season (50 GP, regular-season and playoffs). Jhonas Enroth and the Kings also accomplished the feat on Nov. 3, 2015 (3-0 W).

* San Jose, who set a franchise record for road wins (28-10-3) during the 2015-16 regular season, improved to 4-4 away from home in the playoffs.

* Overall, road teams moved to 37-39 this postseason after winning only 38 contests during the entire 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs (38-51).
