FOUR-POINT OUTINGS LIFT CLUBS TO VICTORY
* Artemi Panarin (2-2—4) registered a career-high four points, including the primary assist on the overtime-winner by Brent Seabrook (1-1—2), to lift the Blackhawks to a fourth win in their last five road games (4-1-0). It was Panarin's eighth game with at least three points this season (and his sixth such game on the road). Per Elias, since 1993-94, the only other NHL rookies to score three points or more in a game at least eight times in one season both did so in 2005-06: Sidney Crosby (11 times) and Alex Ovechkin (8). Panarin leads all rookies in goals (27), assists (41) and points (68) this season.

* David Krejci (2-2—4) posted a career-high four points, including an assist on the game-winner by Patrice Bergeron, to help the Bruins snap the Blues’ win streak at five games. Bergeron (30-34—64) reached the 30-goal mark for the third time in his NHL career (also 2013-14: 30 and 2005-06: 31). At 41-29-8 (90 points), the Bruins moved within three points of the idle Lightning (44-28-5, 93 points) for second place in the Atlantic Division.

AROUND THE RINKS
* Jimmy Howard made 20 saves and Riley Sheahan collected 1-1—2, including the game-winning goal at 2:08 of the third period, to help Detroit improve to 5-2-0 in its past seven home games. At 39-28-11 (89 points), the Red Wings tied the idle Flyers (38-25-13, 89 points) – in terms of points – for the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia, however, holds two games in hand.

* The Canucks overcame deficits of 1-0 and 2-1 to defeat the Ducks 3-2, their second straight win on the heels of a nine-game slide (0-8-1). Bo Horvat (1-1—2) registered his eighth multi-point game of the season. Emerson Etem, a native of Long Beach, Calif., scored the game-winning goal against his former club.

MILESTONES & BENCHMARKS

* Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog (1-1—2) scored the 100th goal of his NHL career. Landeskog (20-31—51) also reached the 20-goal mark for the third consecutive season and fourth time in his NHL career.
