BLACKHAWKS' BLUELINE GETS BOOST FOR RIVALRY CLASH AT ST. LOUIS
Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith is expected to play tonight against the Central Division archrival Blues in St. Louis. The Blackhawks are 5-4-1 since the two-time Norris Trophy winner and reigning Conn Smythe Trophy recipient left the lineup with a knee injury. Chicago also activated defenseman Michal Rozsival, who is slated to make his season debut. The 37-year-old is set to play for the first time since fracturing his left ankle last season against Minnesota in Game 4 of the Western Conference Second Round.

In the clubs' memorable first encounter of the season 10 days ago, a 6-5 St. Louis overtime win at Chicago, the Blues became the 11th team in NHL history to win a game in which it allowed five first-period goals.

The teams with the best points percentages in the Western Conference meet in Dallas tonight when the Stars (13-4-0, .765) play host to the Wild (10-3-2, .733) in the first of their five-game season series. The Stars boast the League's top scoring tandem in forwards Tyler Seguin (9-16—25 in 17 GP) and Jamie Benn (11-11—22 in 17 GP), who are expected to face the NHL wins leader in Minnesota goaltender Devin Dubnyk (10-3-1), set to make his eighth consecutive start.

SHERO, HYNES FACE FORMER CLUB WHEN DEVILS PLAY HOST TO PENGUINS
Former Penguins General Manager Ray Shero faces his old team for the first time since becoming GM of the Devils in May. In addition, it will be New Jersey coach John Hynes' first game against his former organization; he spent five seasons coaching the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League before being hired to coach the Devils. The Penguins (10-6-0) and Devils (9-6-1) are separated by just one point in a tight Metropolitan Division race that has the top five clubs just seven points apart.
