"First of all, I think the lockout helped me a lot," he said. "I was able to play in Czech Republic, Russia. The same routine for 14 years, I'm not saying it's getting tired, but mentally, it probably is a little bit. When you play in Europe, you can do anything you want. You can relax, but you still play hockey. I think the year off helped me a lot. Plus the whole organization here in New York, it's all about professionalism.
