The Blues will be without Alex Pietrangelo and Robby Fabbri for most of the month after injuries suffered on the team's recent trip.
Pietrangelo was put on long term injured reserve on Monday with a hand injury, and surgery is a possibility. Fabbri has a separated shoulder and was placed on injured reserve. He won't need surgery. Both will be re-evaluated around Christmas.
Alexander Steen suffered a concussion after taking an elbow to the head from Colorado's Erik Johnson and is listed as day-to-day.
Also day-to-day are two previously injured players, forward Jaden Schwartz and defenseman Carl Gunnarsson, who general manager Doug Armstrong said are getting closer to coming back.
