Nikolay Goldobin got into three games before catching one of the worst viruses of his life. He lost more than 15 pounds and missed more than two weeks.

Such is the story of the Vancouver Canucks. It was the same last season and many of the seasons before that. Even in their oft-cited run in 2011, the injuries were unrelenting, one after another.
