The Faceoff Project

The mission of the Faceoff Project is to produce and compile as much NHL faceoff information as possible and to reveal all possible insights that can be derived from that information.

About the data

The data on this site is based on faceoff outcomes sourced from the National Hockey League's Real-Time Scoring System (RTSS) reports. The data set currently consists of the 2013-14 and 2012-13 seasons and data from the 2014-15 season will be included on a nightly basis.
