RALEIGH, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes today announced that Executive Vice President and Assistant General Manager Jason Karmanos has been relieved of his duties with the team. Karmanos had served as Carolina’s assistant general manager for 15 years.

Karmanos’ duties will be assumed by Vice President of Hockey Operations Ron Francis and Video Scout/Hockey Operations Assistant Darren Yorke.
