Bad Bounces Hurt The Montreal Canadiens In A 3-2 Home Loss To The Arizona Coyotes

The Montreal Canadiens wouldn’t fault goaltender Mike Condon for the three-goal deficit they faced 23:51 into Thursday’s game against the Arizona Coyotes.

“It was one of those nights; bad bounces,” Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said.

His team outshot the Coyotes 13-5 and trailed 2-0 after the opening frame. The puck bounced off the linesman to start an odd-man rush for Arizona’s second goal—a puck batted out of midair by Coyotes captain Shane Doan.
