A Six-Year Contract For Josh Bailey And The New York Islanders

The New York Islanders have agreed to terms with Josh Bailey on a six-year contract, ensuring that the All-Star forward will remain with the club that drafted him through the 2023-24 season.

Bailey, 28, has established career highs in points (62) and assists (47) through 58 games this season. The Islanders' first-round pick (ninth overall) in the 2008 NHL Draft is second on the Islanders and tied for seventh in the league in assists this season. He is also third on the team in points.
