Pens at home. Hat trick goal, capping a resurgent come back period. Easy call for a league that apparently will throw any goalie in front of a bus to boost scoring.

Bull feathers.  Could see being pushed towards the goalie but when he pushes his stick impeding the net minder it’s interference.

As I’ve said before, I support any call that makes goaltender interference completely unpredictable. It’s so exciting.

cigar_nurse has it exactly right.  Without the stick work no interference.  With it, it is patently interference and no goal.  However, the Caps are not among the annointed by the Evil Garden Gnome.

The winning O.T. goal by the Pengoons also should have been overturned. Cindy ran into the goal tender, but again no interference. Cindy tripped a Washington player without being called for a penalty just before the goal. Some things never change.  cool mad

That’s the bigger travesty in that game. Crysbaby blatantly tripped Ovie along the boards – and no call. It should have been 4-on-3 for the Caps with Crysbaby in the box. For a game that was so damn exciting to end like that is just ridiculous.

I wonder if the zebras is flipping a coin to determine if it’s a goaltender interference or not.?  I just can’t figure it out what to look for anymore?? Imo that was a clear interference from Patrick’s stick on the goalies pad   Let’s Go Red Wings..
