Clean hit, his head hits the ice hard.

Not a clean hit. Point of contact is the jaw. He’s out before his head even hits the ice.  I don’t think it was malicious, but in 2021 that’s not “clean.”

That hasn’t been clean for a decade.  He ran a Khaira blind and high.  Worth a suspension, not just a penalty.

MEDICAL UPDATE: Jujhar Khaira suffered an upper body blow in the second period of tonight’s game. After initial evaluation on the ice he was taken by ambulance to Northwestern Hospital for further testing.

An update will be provided when available.

He was released from the hospital this morning after testing.

Prognosis is good but no timeline for return.

Was knocked out and hit the ice
in a fight vs Calgary last season.

Seems like a good team guy but
you have to worry about his health now.
