I was just reading the Down Goes Brown History of the NHL (which is great), about the gambling scandal in the late ‘40s. Pro leagues aren’t going to mess around with this stuff.

Ouch. Never, never, NEVER underestimate the fury of a scorned woman. If there is anything to this he’s in trouble.

I wonder what the odds in Vegas are on a conviction?

Quietly the Sharks have been trying to move Kane, but how do you move a guy who carries a cap hit of $7M thru the 2024-25 season?  Now this.

He’s always been an embarrassment to the NHL.  His bankruptcy makes me smile every time I think about it.

Sexual assault by a team employee, covered up by the team…..NHL - crickets.

Accused of betting on a game by significant other….NHL- We are all over this.

Bettman clown show.

We intend to conduct a full investigation…

And just to insure impartiality of the investigation, the league has hired “William Hill & Draft Kings” to insure a thorough investigation into any potential player gambling. And please remember to gamble responsibly….. confused

Haha I was thinking the same thing…

The league has hired “William Hill & Draft Kings” for a thorough investigation sponsored by Bally Sports into any Kane’s gambling claims.  We are committed to remain independent, and opening odds are 9/4

Without the gambling issue, I would think it would be pretty easy to move him considering he scores close to 30 goals a season.

With this, he isn’t likely going anywhere until the league investigates it.

Kevin Kurz of The Athletic (free) with a little blurb on Kane stating some players on the Sharks don’t get aloing with Kane plus he has a list of 3 teams he can be traded to. The Sharks are stuck with him.
