But it’s not all useless. I did manage to learn that this week, the NHL Network is broadcasting the St. Louis Blues/Canucks 7-game first round series from a few years back. (Loved that series; I’ve been looking for it forever.)

Unfortunately, they’re also showing the Dallas/Vancouver series from this season. Fun to relive a winning playoff round, but that series in particular…? It might be more fun to watch paint dry.

P.S. I was listening to Leaf’s Lunch this morning and some guy was asked why the Leafs can’t lure the superstar, big free agents. His answer: “Here’s the dirty little secret: People want to win Stanley Cups, and people don’t come to Toronto to win Stanley Cups.”

Sure, it’s the middle of summer, but trashing the Leafs is always in season. :)
