The first period started badly for the Wings with the Leafs scoring an early power play goal. What followed were four unanswered goals from Detroit. Wings up 4-1 after 20 minutes.
Leafs scored three unanswered goals in the second, 4-4 after two periods.
No scoring in the third and Detroit was on the power play to start overtime.

Beautiful goal, but defensively Edvinsson looks like a stud already (and he was drafted as an offensive defensman)
He's said he's taking a cautious approach to the offensive side of his game this call up. It's working. Once he gets more settled I'm sure we'll see more of his offense. The ceiling is quite on him.

Well I didnt like him and then I did! Thought he should have stopped one or two of the earlier ones but did everything needed in the third period.
I disagree, I thought Reimer was huge for us this evening. All 4 goals Toronto scored were absolutely lazer shots. Reimer was a big part of a crucial PK at the end (thanks Kane).
