Season series: The Boston Bruins won the first three games against the Detroit Red Wings this season. "We're a team that needs to bounce back," Babcock said, according to Mlive.com "I felt our energy at practice was the best we've had in a bit. We haven't had good energy the last little bit, so I'm hoping the energy is back."
Bruins team scope: Boston extended its point streak to four games when Brad Marchand's overtime goal gave it a 3-2 win against the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden on Saturday. Sunday ends a four-game homestand for the Bruins, who are two points ahead of the Florida Panthers for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference with two games in hand. "I thought we had a pretty good game," said Marchand, who tied it with 15 seconds left in the third period. "It's always nerve-wracking when they go up by a goal with a minute left, but it just shows the character that we have in this room and to be able to bounce back and be mentally tough in that situation. We're very happy with it and we want to keep building."
