Throughout the season, Redmond and Hradek will be joined by a rotating group of NHL Network analysts, beginning with Mike Rupp. The fast-paced program will include interviews with players and team personnel, in-depth analysis from correspondents including Elliotte Friedman, Chris Johnston and NHL.com’s Dan Rosen, plus fantasy previews and signature show segments including “Light The Lamp.” Opening Night will also mark the regular season return of NHL Network’s flagship program NHL Tonight at 6:00 p.m. ET with game previews, look-ins of live games, highlights, and in-studio demonstrations by analysts Ken Daneyko, Brian Lawton and Kevin Weekes. Following NHL Tonight, Jamie Hersch will host NHL Network’s nightly highlights show On The Fly, recapping every game from across the league. New for this season, NHL Network’s daily studio programming will include interactive live commentary from on-air personalities stationed in NHL Network’s conference center known as the “Penalty Box,” where they prepare for the night’s studio shows and watch games in-progress.

Timed to the 25-year anniversary of its release, NHL Network will celebrate #NHLMovieNight, with the premiere of The Mighty Ducks on Monday, October 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Leading up to and immediately following the film, NHL Network will look back at how this iconic hockey film was created and the birth of the Anaheim Ducks organization in 1993. Also featured are NHL stars Jamie Benn (Dallas Stars), Max Domi (Arizona Coyotes), Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary Flames), Taylor Hall (New Jersey Devils) Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers) and T.J. Oshie (Washington Capitals), who each discuss the lasting legacy of the movie. Before and during the film’s airing, NHL Network, the NHL and its clubs will follow along and post about the movie on social media.
