Better get used to this for the next couple years.
Those four you mention are all on contracts that expire this year, so it’s likely they’ll all be gone.
Except for Cleary who will be an 8-year extension, obviously.

Come on, Garth. You know the league will only allow a seven-year extension for players they didn’t draft. So, seven years at $3M per year will be the contract. No need to exaggerate it.

If the Wings are gonna be a middling team wouldn’t it better serve them to play the kids?
I know, I know, we can’t because Ken Holland has amost $10 million wrapped up in Quincy, Samuelsson, Cleary and Miller.
Better get used to this for the next couple years.
