* The more Marty St. Louis racks up points, the more he comes off as the best little French-Canadian speedster since Yvon (Roadrunner) Cournoyer. (Or do you prefer Henri (The Pocket Rocket) Richard?)

* Torrey Krug is looking more and more like the second coming of Brian Rafalski, the most underrated backliner of the 2000-2010 decade.

* Two job-enhancing wins; Columbus wallops the Leafs in Toronto, 6-0; Jets beat Devils at The Rock, 3-1. Thus, Todd Richards and Claude Noel are a lot safer than before the games.
