The wild card idea is smart. They would be well advised to create a wild card weekend or something the weekend before the first round begins. Maybe teams 4-5 in each conference could play a single game to determine who meets the top seed in each one.
As a Canucks fan, I can’t really object to their new conference. I’m happy to see Colorado out of the newly proposed conference. It’ll never happen, but I would personally love to see Winnipeg in with Van/Cgy/Edm.
I like the idea of divisional playoffs, but most of all I want each team to play all the others, home and away, every season.
