Video- Nazem Kadri Suspended Four Games

Numerous report of Nazem Kadri receiving a four game suspension for a bad hit a few nights ago.

I will update this post as soon as the official NHL suspension is released, but in the meantime, here is the hit.

4 games does seem pretty high given the context, but about right given the severity of the hit.

It definitely looks like Kadri was just trying to squeeze through and steal the puck, and he immediately bent down apologetically after blasting Fraser. It doesn’t change the fact that h completely wrecked Fraser.

Well, the league has to punish him more for a check to the head that the Leafs did for being late to a meeting.

I think I’ve seen shorter suspensions for worse (more intentional) hits. Oh well, guess I’d rather see more punishment for any hits to the head than less.
