Fortunately it wasn’t the 10 games nbcs talking heads were demanding.

This typed as Millbury talks about how “disciplined and smart” Marchand is.

Thought about that too, and I think I like it. While Kadri’s reaction was indefensible, he was provoked by the opposition. He reacted poorly (understatement), but if the Leafs are fortunate enough to overcome his absence, I for one don’t believe that his penalty needs to carry over into the next series. If they aren’t, then this will likely be one of the reasons why, and message sent.

Kadri may have been provoked but don’t use your stick as weapon. He got what he deserved. If he had an issue with that Leaf player or any Leaf player, challenge that person to a fight. Then it’s usually done and over with. Using your stick shows a lack of courage and like of empathy for another players health. It’s against the Code in hockey to do what he did. No sympathy for stupid actions.
