I say yes.
A fighting major has to do with the fact the game was stopped because two guys squared off; the number of punches thrown is irrelevant.
It’s another example of the NHL pretending to dislike fighting (“drop the gloves and you get five” ) and at the same time promoting fighting (“come to our website and see last night’s fights”)
