- If somebody has interest in Tim Thomas, free-agent goalie, they’re sure showing it rather quietly. One place he isn’t going: Washington.

- Just wondering: Does Ron Hainsey’s heavy involvement in the lockout have anything to do with the fact the defenceman hasn’t signed anywhere as a free agent?
