Would you shat yourself if the ticker read: “Iginla to Red Wings for 1st and Ian White…  Danny DeKeyser signs entry level contract with Red Wings…”

At this point, all signs point to Boston as his destination.

Just get Calro back and it’s “Stanley Cup, Here We Come!”

Gettin’ Sammy’s “big-body” will be like getting a “pwer-forward” at the deadline.

Interesting tweet from Jim Matheson..

Still think if LA bends and deals Bernier for Iggy, they come calling for Khabibulin to back up Quick. Khabby playing very well

Anyone else think that’s a monumentally stupid idea given how good Bernier is and that he is a bit younger than Quick, as in Quick’s replacement in a few years?

Yes.

I don’t know if Bernier is ultimately going to stick with the Kings, given salary cap issues and whether he’s content as a backup, but to be traded for a 3rd line center would be ridiculous, particularly as Martin Jones isn’t NHL-ready, by all accounts.

TSN.CA is reporting the following…

“With speculation that Iginla could be headed to the Boston Bruins, McKenzie added that defenceman Matt Bartkowski, prospect Alexander Khokhlachev, and a first-round draft pick could be headed to Calgary in return.

Bartkowski is a healthy scratch for the Bruins tonight while Khokhlachev isn’t in the lineup for Boston’s AHL affiliate in Providence.”
