* The Flyers can clinch the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and reach the postseason for the second time in three campaigns if they earn a single point in their matinee game (3:00pm ET, NBC) with the Rangers. Philadelphia would also clinch if the Panthers lose to the Sabres.
Meanwhile, the Panthers – who have already reeled off wins against the Hurricanes, Predators and Bruinsthis week – aim to push their winning streak to four games as they continue their pursuit of the Flyers and the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Blues (44-31-6, 94 points) hold a one-point lead over the Avalanche (42-30-9, 93 points) as the teams face off at Pepsi Center in Colorado with the final playoff berth in the Western Conference on the line.
* The Blues will clinch the final playoff berth in the Western Conference if they earn at least one point against the Avalanche.
* The Avalanche will clinch the final playoff berth in the Western Conference if they defeat the Blues in regulation.
