This should up the price for Tbert if he is traded.

I’d be amazed if Bert was traded with Calgary and Toronto looking so good.  Could end up missing him half a series..and if that’s the series whoever trades for him gets bumped they’ll be crapped on foe making the trade to begin with

Never know. Maybe Bert would get the shot if he had the chance to play for the cup.

I’m not inclined to trade Bert, but if someone offered two firsts, I’d probably take that for just about anybody on the roster whose name isn’t Seider or Raymond.

Tampa’s picks have been at the end of the draft recently and I would expect them there (or near there) for the next couple too—so they are essentially 2nd rounders.

Plus the players are 2 bottom 6 forwards that weren’t going to make Tampa’s lineup anytime soon.

That’s not exactly a haul for a young, cheap, club-controlled (a RFA after current deal expires) top 6 forward.

The Blackhawks are stating their rebuild and Hagel would be pushing 30 by the time they are competitive again—-sound familiar? So they are selling him (and his 22% shooting pct that can only go lower) near his peak value. Hmmm…reminds me of someone on the Wings….minus the RFA expiry.
