I appreciate that the league is doing everything to save the franchise in Phoenix. Unlike the NBA who will whore and blackmail every city to keep its team. Also kudos the Phoenix fans who are averaging 14,000 per game, soon to surpass Columbus and ahead of NYI, and up nearly 3000 per game over last year. There are very few markets that would support a team on life support for 4 years and with the threat of leaving hanging over their head. It is also good to hear Bettman’s support for Seattle, I think it will be a great NHL market.
