from Derek Van Diest of the Edmonton Sun,
Ilya Bryzgalov is letting his game do the talking.
The Edmonton Oilers goaltender was solid in his first start for the club, making 33 saves in a 3-0 win over the Nashville Predators on Thursday.
It was the 31st shutout of his NHL career.
“It’s great to have a shutout,” Bryzgalov said. “A shutout is a shutout, it’s always good. I felt pretty good. The team played well.
“They had a couple of chances, but that’s what the goalie is there for, to make some saves.”
