Believe it or not, karma is definitely a thing.

And some of the bad kind was doused all over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

In anticipation of the first Stanley Cup in the team’s 52 year history, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch ran online ads congratulating the Blues on their first championship hours before Game 6 was played. Included was a congratulatory letter from team chairman Tom Stallman and from major sponsor Enterprise about the team winning the Cup.
