What Would You Do?

Steve has been supplying OLN information for quite some time on different hockey forums. He has recently started posting at KKF and that is much appreciated. Yesterday he asked...
Go ahead, tell me what you’d do if you were in charge. And your response can not involve ESPN. Here’s what I’d do: -Keep Clement in the studio, but try new analysts. Ralph Stangis and Darren Pang might be worth trying out. -Keep Doc Emrick, but let him do the games Vin Scully style. No color man. An analyst not named JD is useless next to him. You can keep a reporter though. -If I must name a new lead color guy, use reporter Billy Jaffe. He has a great enthusiasm for the game that I enjoyed the one time they used him doing color. -Get more Pierre McGuire. I don’t care what anyone says, he’s exciting. -Fire Beninati and Jackson. Keep Kenny Albert, let Sam Rosen do a few games, but hire Ralph Strangis, Jim Hughsson and Chris Cuthbert to round out my play-by-play teams. Kenny will call the Conf. Final that Doc and Jaffe don’t. -Get better color men. Again, Pang, Strangis, McGuire, Remenda. -EVERY game in HD. Happy Paul? -Mic the players, but if you have to bleep them do so. Give the whole “Viewer Discretion Advised” warning before hand. -Have a “Satellite Hotstove Show” in between periods. -At 1:00 AM every night, do an “NHL2Nite” style show. -Make the scoreboard smaller.
Without a doubt, every game should be in HD Steve and I like the recap show at 1am (that's what dvr's are for). Let Steve know how you feel about this topic. As many KK members and guests know, what you ask for just may happen!
