The NHL's interview period for unrestricted free agents to speak to teams other than their own will open on June 23 at 12:01 a.m ET.

The restricted free agent contact period will open three days later on June 26 at 12:01am et.

During the period, pending free agents will be able to meet with prospective teams, but are not permitted to discuss contract details. The NHL's free agency period will open on July 1 at noon ET.

Last year, TSN's top-ranked free agent, John Tavares, used the period to meet with six teams (including his then-team the New York Islanders) before signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1.

This year's UFA class is scheduled to be headlined Artemi Panarin, Erik Karlsson, Sergei Bobrovsky, Matt Duchene and Jeff Skinner. Click here to view TSN's Top 25 free agents.
