SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to a two-year contract extension with D Steven Kampfer.
“Since we acquired Steven in October, he has been a welcome addition to our organization,” said Tallon. “He has worked extremely hard since his recall and has fit very well into our line-up, contributing both offensively and defensively. Steven is most deserving of this contract extension and we look forward to his continued contributions to our club.”

During his career in the National Hockey League, he has played in 79 games for Florida (2015), Minnesota (2011-2012) and Boston (2010-2012), scoring eight goals with 10 assists and 24 penalty minutes.
