NEW YORK - Edmonton Oilers center Leon Draisaitl, Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jack Campbell and Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending Nov. 7.

FIRST STAR - LEON DRAISAITL, C, EDMONTON OILERS

Draisaitl registered three-plus points in each of his three outings, pacing the NHL with 5 5-10 overall to power the Pacific Division-leading Oilers (9-1-0, 18 points) to a perfect week and their best 10-game start to a season - in terms of wins - in franchise history. Draisaitl collected 2-2-4 for his second four-point performance of the campaign (also Oct. 19 vs. ANA: 2-2-4) and 15th of his career in a 5-2 triumph over the Seattle Kraken Nov. 1. He then posted 2-1-3, including his 35th career game-winning goal, in a 5-2 victory against the Nashville Predators Nov. 3. Draisaitl capped the week with 1-2-3, highlighted by his franchise-record 10th career overtime goal, in a 6-5 comeback win over the New York Rangers Nov. 5. The 26-year-old Cologne, Germany, native and 2019-20 Hart Memorial Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award and Art Ross Trophy winner tops the League with 10-13-23 and four game-winning goals through 10 contests thus far in 2021-22. His 23 points are the most by any NHL player through the first 10 games of a season since 2002-03, when Mario Lemieux recorded 6-17-23 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

SECOND STAR - JACK CAMPBELL, G, TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS

Campbell went 3-0-0 with a 0.99 goals-against average, .968 save percentage and one shutout, turning aside 92 of the 95 shots he faced to lift the Maple Leafs (7-4-1, 15 points) to a perfect week and their fifth straight victory overall (dating to Oct. 27). Campbell denied 26 shots, including 22 over the final two periods, for his fifth career shutout in a 4-0 triumph over the Vegas Golden Knights Nov. 2. He then stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 2-1 overtime win against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning Nov. 4. Campbell finished the week with 42 saves - his ninth career 40-save performance and first since Jan. 9, 2020 at VGK (44 SV) - in a 5-2 victory over the Boston Bruins Nov. 6. The 29-year-old Port Huron, Mich., native has played in 10 total games this season, going 6-2-1 with a 1.88 goals-against average (fifth in the NHL), .936 save percentage (sixth in the League) and one shutout.

THIRD STAR - JOHN GIBSON, G, ANAHEIM DUCKS

Gibson stopped 62 of the 63 shots he faced, compiling a 2-0-0 record, 0.50 goals-against average, .984 save percentage and one shutout to help the Ducks (6-4-3, 15 points) win all three of their games and extend their point streak six contests dating to Oct. 28 (4-0-2). Gibson earned his 23rd career shutout with 28 saves in a 4-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils Nov. 2. He then denied 34 of 35 shots, including a perfect 27 of 27 over the final two periods, in a 4-1 win against the St. Louis Blues Nov. 7. The 28-year-old Pittsburgh native has appeared in nine total games this season, going 5-2-2 with a 2.40 goals-against average, .923 save percentage and one shutout.
