Stanley Cup Playoffs Predictions for 2019

04/25/2019 at 10:05am EDT

The best post season tournament in the world is just around the corner! The regular NHL season is over and the playoff matchups have been set. So let’s get started!

On the East side the Tampa Lightning just tied the NHL record for most wins in a season while having a 103 plus goal difference! The next best team had a 62 plus goal difference, showing just how far ahead Tampa was. They are as such a clear favourite, but their road to victory is long and arguably they face the toughest path to get there.

On the West side, the situation is much different and it could be anyone’s bet who will advance. Could the Flames finish their successful season with a dream victory and the Final Cup in their hands? Or will the Sharks shake off the jitters and get back on track? With 1xBet you can start placing your bets, support your favourite team and why not predict even the winner. Don’t worry though, if you don’t know on what to wager, we decided to write this article, to help you. These are the most popular predictions.

Predictions for the First Round

Western

Flames over Avalanche in six

Golden Knights over Sharks in six

Predators over Stars in five

Jets over Blues in seven

Eastern

Lightning over Blue Jackets in four

Bruins over Maple Leafs in six

Capitals over Hurricanes in seven

Penguins over Islanders in six

That means that 7 out of the 8 semi-finalists last year will be in the semi-final yet again! The only team that is not poised to make it to the semi-finals is San Jose. The Sharks have just gone through one of their worst seasons and with Timo Meier’s recent injury, it does not bode well for the team and their chances of winning the cup. The team also has an annoying tendency to let opponents score on them within the first couple of minutes, giving away momentum from start. Predictions for the Second Round

Western

Knights over Flames in seven

Predators over Jets in seven

Eastern

Bruins over Lightning in seven

Penguins over Capitals in seven

Most of these teams predicting to win have had almost a year to wait until they could act their vengeance. As great a season as the Tampa Lightning has had, the Bruins are poised to pull a head and revenge the second-round elimination they faced at the hands of Tampa Lightning last year.

Predictions for the Final Round

Western Conference:

Predators over Knights in six

Eastern Conference:

Bruins over Penguins in six

The Bruins are predicted to continue to steam roll their opponents this year. The predators are poised to win against the Vegas Knights whose star goal keeper Marc-Andre Fleury is suffering from injuries. He was instrumental to the Golden Knights’ winning streak a year ago and will be dearly missed this season.

Predictions for Stanley Cup Final

Bruins over Predators in six. Yes, yes! Boston has won plenty recently, but a winning streak is called a winning streak for a reason. The Bruins always bring their power play to the table which consistently outperforms that of the Predators. Who do you think will be the winner? Start placing your bets for one of the biggest and most interesting cups in the US!
