from TSN,
While the Toronto Maple Leafs will be playing their first game since trading captain Dion Phaneuf on Tuesday night, the Calgary Flames are expected to be missing stars of their own.
According to TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie, Flames forwards Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau and Lance Bouma are expected to be out against the Leafs for disciplinary reasons.
According to the Calgary Herald, Flames head coach Bob Hartley called practice after just 25 minutes on Monday, the morning after the players were given Super Bowl Sunday off.
The Herald also reports “a couple of regulars” in the Flames lineup showed up shortly before the start of practice, but did not name the players, and Hartley declined to comment when asked, stating he wasn't "going to clean his laundry in public."
