Playoff Hopes For The Ottawa Senators Fading Quickly

12/10/2017 at 7:49am EST

from Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun,

As far as the Ottawa Senators are concerned, the Golden State has lost its shine.

For the first time in four seasons, the Senators closed out a trip through California without even one victory, capped by a horrible 5- 0 loss to the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center on Saturday night....

What’s going on here? This string of bad hockey isn’t showing any signs of stopping and the Senators are slowly. but surely, taking themselves out of any real possibility of making the National Hockey League playoffs.

Not only did the Senators stretch their winless streak to four games, but they also have just one victory in the past 12 after letting the Sharks skate away with the two points.
