The TSN Insiders discussed the Toronto Maple Leafs with Darren Dreger saying Phaneuf could be moved but iffy and the same with Kessel, both have mammoth contracts.

Bob McKenzie talked about the Montreal Canaadiens floating the names of Lars Eller and Alexei Emelin. McKenzie then discussed their contract length and says it may be difficult to move them.

Pierre LeBrun says the Pittsburgh Penguins are looking for an experienced, rental defenseman.

Dreger mentioned the Winnipeg Jets are looking for at least a top 9 forward and Tyler Myers will not be flipped for that forward.

Would the Boston Bruins trade Malcom Subban, doubtful unless it was a big offer.

LeBrun talked 2018 Winter Olympics and McKenzie says Mike Babcock is open to coach Team Canada again.
