HEROES

Joe Pavelski - San Jose's captain scored a pair of goals in a 4-3 Game One win at Los Angeles. He has 20 points (8 G, 12 A) in his past 19 playoff games.

Jussi Jokinen and Reilly Smith - Even without regular centre Vincent Trocheck, the Panthers wingers led the attack against the Islanders. Smith played big minutes - leading Florida forwards with 19:50 time on ice - putting up two goals and an assist with eight shots on goal while Jokinen added a goal and two assists. Along with centre Nick Bjugstad, the Panthers trio controlled play (22 for, 5 against, 81.5 SAT%) vs. the Islanders.

ZEROES

Roberto Luongo - The backbone of the Panthers this season, the veteran goaltender was lit up in Game One, surrendering five goals on 26 shots in a 5-4 loss to the Islanders.

Matt Dumba - The Minnesota blueliner was on the ice for three goals against in just 14:54 of ice time in a 4-0 Game One loss at Dallas.

Josh Bailey - It was a rough night for the Islanders winger, who had game-worst possession stats (7 for, 27 against, 20.6 SAT%) and was on for two goals against in a 5-4 win at Florida.
