141 – Points recorded in the regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs by Bruins forward Brad Marchand (53-88—141 in 106 GP), the highest combined total in the NHL. His 141 total points were the most by a player in a calendar year since Sidney Crosby had 145 in 2010 (66-79—145 in 93 GP).

122 – Regular-season points by Oilers captain Connor McDavid (42-80—122 in 82 GP), the second straight calendar year in which he led the NHL in points. McDavid is the first player to lead the NHL in scoring in consecutive calendar years since Jaromir Jagr in 1998 and 1999.

59 – Total wins by St. Louis goaltender Jordan Binnington (43 in regular season, 16 in playoffs), tied for the second-most in a calendar year in League history. Bernie Parent also had 59 in 1974 with Philadelphia, while Marc-Andre Fleury had 62 in 2009 with Pittsburgh.

56 – Regular-season wins by the Blues (56-19-11, 123 points), two more than the Hurricanes (54-26-4, 112 points) for the League lead.

52 – Regular-season goals by Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl (85 GP), the most in the NHL.

43 – Regular-season wins by Jordan Binnington (59 GP), tops among all goaltenders. He established a franchise record for most in a calendar year by a Blues goaltender, eclipsing the previous high of 40 set by Mike Liut in 1980 (70 GP).

28 – Regular-season goals scored by Carolina defenseman Dougie Hamilton (84 GP), six more than Nashville’s Roman Josi (22 G in 80 GP) for the most among all blueliners. Only one other defenseman in the last quarter-century (since 1994) has had as many in a calendar year: Mike Green in 2009 with Washington (32 G in 82 GP).

7 – Players with at least 100 regular-season points (Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, BradMarchand, Patrick Kane, Nikita Kucherov, Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau), matching the total from the previous year. Prior to 2018, the last calendar year to feature as many players each with 100 or more regular-season points was 1996.

3 – Consecutive calendar years in which a player born outside North America has led the League in regular-season goals (Leon Draisaitl in 2019, Alex Ovechkin in 2018 and Nikita Kucherov in 2017). That’s the second-longest such run in NHL history behind a stretch of 11 straight years from 1993 to 2003 (outright or tied).

2 – Consecutive calendar years in which Connor McDavid has led the League in regular-season points. Only one other player in NHL history has led all skaters in regular-season scoring during multiple calendar years before age 23 (outright or tied): Wayne Gretzky in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.
