KANE, CRAWFORD LEAD BLACKHAWKS TO FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN
Patrick Kane (2-0—2) scored the first two goals of the game and Corey Crawford made 27 saves to lead the Blackhawks (17-11-5, 39 points) to their fifth consecutive victory.

* Kane, who found the back of the net for the third straight game, tallied career goals No. 298 and 299 to surpass Dennis Hull (298) for sole possession of fifth on the Blackhawks’ all-time goals list. He sits one goal shy of becoming the fifth player in franchise history to score 300 goals with the club (Bobby Hull: 604; Stan Mikita: 541; Steve Larmer: 406; Denis Savard: 377).

* Crawford extended his personal point streak to 11 games (9-0-2 dating to Nov. 15) with a 1.98 GAA and .938 SV% over that span. He became just the second goalie to post a point streak of at least 11 games this season (Andrei Vasilevskiy: 13-0-1 from Oct. 9 – Nov. 16).

* Sunday marked the 11th time this season that Crawford has started a game in which he has allowed one goal or less, the most of any goaltender in 2017-18.

VEGAS SCORES FIVE UNANSWERED GOALS IN HOME WIN
Trailing 2-0 in the first period, the Golden Knights (21-9-2, 44 points) scored five consecutive goals to move into a tie with the Kings (20-10-4, 44 points) – in terms of points – for first place in the Pacific Division.

* Erik Haula scored his fourth game-winning goal of the season to move into a tie with James Neal for the team lead and extend his point streak to six games (4-4—8).

* Jonathan Marchessault (1-2—3) and Reilly Smith (0-2—2), who both skated for the Panthers in 2016-17, were key contributors to the Golden Knights rally against their former club.

* Vegas improved to 13-2-1 (27 points) at T-Mobile Arena this season, the most home wins of any team in the Western Conference.

FLAMES, JETS POUR ON THE OFFENSE TO EARN WINS
The Flames (17-14-3, 37 points) and Jets (19-10-5, 43 points) outscored their opponents by five and four goals, respectively, to earn victories on Sunday.

* Sam Bennett (1-3—4) recorded his second career four-point outing (4-0—4 vs. FLA on Jan. 13, 2016) to help the Flames register at least six goals in a game for the fourth time this season.

* Four different Jets found the scoresheet including Patrik Laine, who netted his League-leading 10th power-play goal of the season (34 GP) to eclipse his total from 2016-17 (nine in 73 GP). Connor Hellebuyck turned aside all 24 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the campaign (eighth career) and improve to 17-4-4 this season (2.45 GAA, .920 SV%).

FLYERS AIM FOR SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE VICTORY

The Flyers (14-11-7, 35 points) look to become the third team this season to win seven consecutive games (LAK: 8-0-0 from Nov. 25 – Dec. 9 and TBL: 7-0-0 from Dec. 2 – present) when they host the Kings (20-10-4, 44 points) at Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia’s current six-game run has come on the heels of a 10-game winless stretch (0-5-5). Per Elias, only one team in NHL history has followed a winless streak of 10 or more games with seven consecutive victories – the Maple Leafs went 7-0-0 from Feb. 12 – 26, 1967 after an 0-10-1 record in their previous 11 contests.
