DUBNYK BLANKS BRUINS FOR LEAGUE-LEADING FOURTH SHUTOUT
Devan Dubnyk turned aside all 25 shots he faced and Mikael Granlundscored the only goal of the contest with 44.5 seconds remaining in regulation as the Wild improved to 5-2-0 at Xcel Energy Center.

* Dubnyk picked up his NHL-leading fourth shutout of the season and improved to 7-5-1 overall (1.47 GAA, .952 SV%, 4 SO). Since making his Wild debut on Jan. 15, 2015, Dubnyk paces all goaltenders with 14 shutouts, three more than the next-closest netminder (Carey Price: 11).

* Minnesota has allowed the fewest goals in the NHL this season, giving up just 29 in 16 games.

TEAMS BUILD ON HOME ICE SUCCESS
Several clubs earned victories on Thursday night to continue their winning ways at home:

* Jaden Schwartz (2-0—2) scored two of St. Louis’ three goals to lead the Blues over the Sharks in their first meeting since the 2016 Western Conference Final, a 4-2 series win by San Jose. The Blues stretched their home point streak to seven games (5-0-2) and improved to 7-1-2 at Scottrade Center overall.

* Connor Brown (2-2—4) recorded the first four-point game of his NHL career to help the Maple Leafs improve to 7-2-0 at Air Canada Centre, including three straight wins. Mitch Marnerscored a nifty breakaway goal in the first period and ranks second among all rookies with 7-9—16 this season (17 GP).

* Steve Mason made 30 saves and five different skaters scored as the Flyers extended their home point streak to five games (3-0-2). Mason improved to 6-0-1 in eight career appearances against the Jets/Thrashers franchise.

* Four different skaters found the back of the net as the Kings halted a four-game slide (0-3-1) and improved to 6-2-0 at home. The Kings have won 10 consecutive home games vs. EDM dating to April 2, 2012 (EDM: 0-9-1).

* The Ducks overcame a 2-0 deficit and Ryan Kesler scored the game-winning goal with 3:40 remaining in regulation to improve to 6-2-0 at Honda Center, including four straight wins.

Ben Hutton converted on a penalty shot in overtime to lead the Canucks past the Coyotes. Elias notes that Hutton became the first player in franchise history to score a penalty shot goal in overtime. He also became the third defenseman to do so since regular-season overtime was reintroduced in the 1983-84 season and second in the last seven days, joining Carolina’s Frantisek Kaberle (Jan. 13, 2006 vs. NSH) and New Jersey’s Andy Greene (Nov. 11, 2016 at BUF).

LOOSE PUCKS
