CROSBY, MALKIN LEAD PENGUINS TO THIRD STRAIGHT WIN
Sidney Crosby (2-0—2) and Evgeni Malkin (2-0—2) – who registered his 300th career NHL goal – combined for four of Pittsburgh’s five goals to lead the Penguins to their third straight win.

* Per Elias, the Penguins hold an all-time record of 61-4-1 when Crosby and Malkin each score in the same contest.

* Crosby has scored in all three games since making his season debut on Oct. 25 (4-1—5) and has registered at least one point in 23 of his past 24 regular-season games dating to Feb. 29 (15-19—34).

DUBNYK POSTS THIRD STRAIGHT BLANK SHEET
Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 29 saves to pick up his third consecutive shutout and improve to 5-1-1 this season with a 1.43 goals-against average, .952 save percentage and three shutouts.

* Per Elias, Dubnyk became the first goaltender in Wild franchise history to post three straight blank sheets, stopping all 94 shots faced during those contests.

* Dubnyk now owns the longest individual shutout streak in Wild history (181:43), surpassing Darcy Kuemper’s mark of 163:46 from Oct. 9-17, 2014.

SHARKS DEFEAT PREDATORS IN PLAYOFF REMATCH
The Sharks opened the scoring with three consecutive goals en route to a 4-1 win over the Predators in their first meeting since the Second Round of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs (4-3 SJS series win).

* Joe Pavelski (1-1—2) notched his second game-winning goal of the season (9 GP). In 2015-16, he matched a single-season franchise record with an NHL-leading 11 game-winning tallies and added four more in the postseason, including the game-winning goal vs. NSH in Game 7.

HOMETOWN HOCKEY TOUR STOPS IN NEWFOUNDLAND
Former Islanders forward Matt Martin returns to face his former team for the first time as a member of the Maple Leafs on Rogers Hometown Hockey, which makes its third stop of the season in Grand Falls-Windsor, Nfld. Sunday also marks the Islanders’ Hockey Fights Cancer night at Barclays Center.

* Throughout 2016-17, Sunday games will be broadcast from a different community rink in various towns across Canada. Included in each telecast will be local NHL player profiles, grassroots stories and local entertainment features.
