DUCKS MATCH FRANCHISE RECORD WITH 10TH STRAIGHT WIN . . .
Corey Perry registered 1-2—3 to power the Ducks to a 17-1-1 clip in their last 19 games, including 10 consecutive victories – matching the franchise record established Dec. 6-28, 2013.

* The Ducks became the third team to post a 10-game winning streak in 2015-16, joining the Panthers (Dec. 15 – Jan. 10: 12-0-0) and Blackhawks (Dec. 29 – Jan. 19: 12-0-0). Via Elias, it marks the first season in NHL history in which three teams have recorded winning streaks of 10 or more games.

* The Ducks also improved to 11-1-3 in their past 15 contests as visitors, including five straight wins. They began the season 4-10-1 away from Honda Center.

* Frederik Andersen (27 SV) extended his personal point streak to 14 consecutivedecisions (12-0-2). Elias says that is tied for the second-longest such streak in franchise history, behind Jonas Hiller’s 16-game run (Nov. 30, 2013 – Jan. 12, 2014: 14-0-2).

. . . AS CALIFORNIA RIVALS KEEP PACE IN PACIFIC DIVISION
The Kings and Sharks also picked up wins to keep pace in the Pacific Division, where the top three clubs are separated by four points:

* The Kings raced to a 2-0 lead in the opening 3:33 of regulation en route to their fourth victory in their past five contests. Tanner Pearson scored for the third consecutive game (4-0—4), while Dwight King provided the winning goal – the seventh of his career and second in his last four outings (also Feb. 25 vs. EDM).

* Down 2-0, the Sharks scored three unanswered goals to improve to 8-2-2 in their past 12 games overall, including a 6-1-1 record as visitors. Brent Burns posted 1-1—2, including his 22nd goal of the season (63 GP) – tops among defensemen and tied for a career high established in 2013-14 (69 GP).

LIGHTNING ALSO EQUAL CLUB RECORD WITH EIGHTH STRAIGHT VICTORY
Ben Bishop turned aside 33 of 34 shots to backstop the Lightning to their eighth consecutive win, equaling the franchise record set Feb. 23 – March 6, 2004.

* At 38-22-4 (80 points), the Lightning leapfrogged the Panthers (36-20-8, 80 points) – who lost in regulation – for first place in the Atlantic Division. Though the teams are tied in terms of points, Tampa Bay owns the ROW tiebreaker (TBL: 35, FLA: 30).

* The Lightning also earned their sixth straight road win, their longest such run since Jan. 8 – Feb. 7, 2008 (6-0-0) and one shy of the club record established Jan. 7 – Feb. 1, 2007 (7-0-0).

* Bishop, who played 23 games with the Senators (2012-13), improved 9-0-3 in 13 career appearances against his former club (2.02 GAA, .933 SV%).

LATE GOALS PROPEL ISLANDERS, DEVILS TO OVERTIME WINS
The Islanders and Devils both scored tying goals in the final minute of regulation en route to overtime victories:

* Anders Lee (1-1—2) tied the game with 28.3 seconds remaining in regulation – just 1:34 after the Jets took the lead – and Kyle Okposo (1-1—2) scored at 2:20 of overtimeto help the Islanders improve to 5-1-0 in the opening six contests of their seven-game road trip. Okposo picked up his sixth career overtime goal (all w/ NYI), second in franchise history behind John Tavares (8). He is tied for first on the club with 16-34—50 overall this season, including four game-winning goals.

* Adam Henrique scored the tying goal with 39.7 seconds left in regulation and the winning goal at 1:54 of overtime to help the Devils snap a three-game skid (0-3-0). Elias says that Henrique became the fourth player in franchise history to record a trying goal in the final minute of regulation and then the winning goal in that same game. The others:Patrik Elias (Nov. 9, 2001 vs. TOR), Joe Nieuwendyk (Jan. 22, 2003 at SJS) and Jamie Langenbrunner (Jan. 30, 2009 vs. PIT).
