AROUND THE RINKS
* Ryan Kesler posted 2-1—3 to lead the Ducks to their 22nd consecutive regular-season home win against the Flames dating to April 4, 2004 (CGY: 0-17-5) – the second-longest such streak versus a single opponent in NHL history. The only longer one, via Elias: Philadelphia’s 23-game home winning streak against Pittsburgh from Feb. 17, 1980 – Jan. 29, 1987. The Ducks (31-19-8, 70 points) improved to 12-1-1 in their last 14 games, including five straight victories, to climb within two points of the idle Kings (34-20-4, 72 points) atop the Pacific Division. Kesler extended his assist/point streak to five games (2-5—7).

* Kris Letang dished out three assists to propel the Penguins to their ninth victory in their past 13 outings (9-3-1). Letang registered his fourth three-point performance of the season and second of the month (also Feb. 6 at FLA: 2-1—3); he shares fifth place among defensemen with 9-36—45 overall. Per Elias, Lundqvist earned his 59th career shutout to tie Evgeni Nabokov for 17th place in NHL history; he shares third place in the League with 29 wins this season (2.28 GAA, .923 SV%, 4 SO). Klein notched his third career overtime goal and first since Dec. 8, 2014 vs. PIT.

* Ryan Callahan scored twice and Steven Stamkos (1-1—2) provided the tiebreaking goal with 5:43 remaining in regulation to guide the Lightning to their third straight win. Callahan posted his first multi-goal game since Nov. 26, 2014 vs. NYR (2-1—3). Stamkos registered his sixth game-winning goal of the season, first on the team and two shy of the League lead shared by San Jose’s Joe Pavelski and Chicago’s Jonathan Toews (8).
