ANDERSEN BACKSTOPS DUCKS TO SIXTH CONSECUTIVE PLAYOFF VICTORY
Frederik Andersen stopped all 30 shots he faced to earn his first career postseason shutout and lift the Ducks to a 6-0 record in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

* The Ducks equaled a franchise record with their sixth consecutive playoff victory. They have achieved that feat two other times, setting the mark April 10-26, 2003, and equaling it May 1-11, 2006.

* The Ducks also opened the postseason with six straight wins for the second time in club history (also in 2003). Since 1990, only four other teams have achieved that feat: the 1994 Rangers, 1999 Red Wings, 1999 Stars and 2008 Penguins.

* Andersen became the third goaltender in Ducks history to post six consecutive playoff victories. The others: Jean-Sebastien Giguere (April 10-26, 2003) and Ilya Bryzgalov(May 1-11, 2006).

* Overall, Andersen improved to 9-2 in 13 career postseason appearances (2.37 GAA, .920 SV%, 1 SO). That includes a 6-0 record this year (1.64 GAA, .942 SV%, 1 SO).

* Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf both collected two assists, their third and second consecutive multi-point performances, respectively. Perry leads all players with 5-8—13 this postseason, while Getzlaf shares second with 2-8—10.

* With 27-42—69 in his playoff career (80 GP), Perry also moved into a tie with Teemu Selanne (35-34—69 in 96 GP) for second on the franchise’s all-time postseason points list. Getzlaf sits in first with 27-57—84 (87 GP).

* Matt Beleskey opened the scoring for the second time in as many games. Hampus Lindholm potted his first career playoff goal (17 GP), while Nate Thompson added an empty-net tally.

* The Ducks extended their home winning streak against the Flames to 21 games dating to April 27, 2006 (regular season and playoffs). They also improved to 16-4-2 in their past 22 head-to-head meetings (home and away) dating to Dec. 10, 2010 (CGY: 6-12-4).

KANE (AGAIN) POWERS BLACKHAWKS TO 2-0 SERIES LEAD OVER WILD
Patrick Kane scored twice, including a highlight-reel goal that stood as the decisive marker, to lift the Blackhawks to a 2-0 series lead over the Wild.

* The Blackhawks improved to 10-3 in 13 all-time playoff games against the Wild – that includes a perfect 8-0 record at United Center and 3-0 mark in Game 2s. They have taken a 2-0 series lead in all three of their playoff meetings (also 2013 CQF and 2014 SR).

* The Blackhawks also improved to 5-0 at home this postseason. Two other teams are undefeated at home: the Ducks (4-0) and Flames (3-0).

* Kane registered his eighth career multi-goal postseason game to eclipse 100 career playoff points (42-59—101 in 101 GP). Only four other players in Blackhawks history have reached the milestone: Stan Mikita (59-91—150), Denis Savard (61-84—145),Bobby Hull (62-67—129) and Steve Larmer (45-66—111).

* Kane, who led all players with 2-6—8 in four contests against the Wild during the regular season, has 6-6—12 in 13 career postseason outings vs. MIN. That includes three game-winning goals (also Games 1 and 6 in 2014 SR).

* Kane extended his overall point streak to five games (4-3—7), becoming the first player to post such a run in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He also scored for the third straight game, the first time he has done so in the postseason since April 24 – May 3, 2010 (4-1—5 in 4 GP).

* Patrick Sharp (1-1—2) and Jonathan Toews also scored. The trio of Kane, Sharp and Toews all registered goals in the same contest for the second time this postseason (also April 25 vs. NSH). They had done so only two times prior to the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: April 26, 2010 at NSH and June 19, 2013 at BOS.

* Elias also notes that Kane and Toews each scored in the same playoff game for the 11th time, tied for third-most among current teammates (w/ Johan Franzen and Henrik Zetterberg of the Red Wings). The only pairs of Blackhawks who have scored in more postseason games together: Larmer-Savard (14x) and Dennis Hull-Mikita (12x).

* Toews opened the scoring with his third career shorthanded goal in the postseason. The others: April 26, 2011 at VAN and May 24, 2014 at LAK.

* Duncan Keith and Marian Hossa each picked up one assist. Keith leads all defensemen with 2-8—10 during the postseason, while Hossa has 4-13—17 in 13 career playoff games vs. MIN.

* Corey Crawford made 30 saves, including 14 in the third period, to improve to 10-3 in 13 career postseason appearances vs. MIN (1.71 GAA, .937 SV%, 1 SO).

POWER PLAY COMES ALIVE TO LIFT LIGHTNING PAST CANADIENS
Down 1-0 late in the first period, the Lightning scored five consecutive goals – including four via the power play – to take a 2-0 series lead against the Canadiens.

* The Lightning took a 2-0 series lead for the third time in franchise history and second time with both wins coming on the road. The only other such instance: the 2011 Eastern Conference Semifinals vs. WSH (an eventual 4-0 series victory).

* The Lightning, who were swept by the Canadiens in the First Round of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs, improved to 7-0-0 this season vs. MTL (regular season and playoffs). During the regular season, they became the first team to sweep a season series of at least five games against the Canadiens since 1983-84 (BUF: 8-0-0).

* After a 0-for-25 drought on the man-advantage, the Lightning converted four consecutive power-play opportunities (on four straight shots). Their four such goals equaled a franchise playoff record, last achieved on April 23, 2011 at PIT.

* After scoring the double-overtime winner in Game 1, Nikita Kucherov posted his first career multi-goal playoff game (11 GP) – including the decisive marker. Per Elias, he became the first player to record the game-winning goal in each of the first two games of a postseason series since Bruins forward David Krejci did so in each of the first three contests of the 2011 Eastern Conference Semifinals vs. PHI.

* Five other Lightning players recorded multi-point performances: Valtteri Filppula (1-2—3), Steven Stamkos (1-2—3), Victor Hedman (1-1—2), Tyler Johnson (0-2—2) and Alex Killorn (0-2—2).

* Stamkos, who entered the game with zero goals and three points in his first eight outings of the postseason, doubled his point total – highlighted by a breakaway goal in the second period that gave the Lightning the lead.

* Johnson notched his fourth multi-point game of the playoffs. He leads the team and shares second in the NHL with 7-3—10 this postseason.

* Ben Bishop made 27 saves, including 13 in the opening period, to improve to 12-1-2 in 16 career appearances vs. MTL (regular season and playoffs). That includes a perfect 7-0-0 record this season (regular season and playoffs).

LOOSE PUCKS
The Wild suffered consecutive losses in regulation for the first time since Jan. 11-13. On Jan. 14, they traded for goaltender Devan Dubnyk . . . Dubnyk, who made 27 saves and earned his first career postseason assist on Sunday, has started 47 of the team’s 48 games (regular season and playoffs) since his acquisition in mid-January . . . Lightning forward J.T. Brown (11 GP) and Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry (8 GP) both scored their first career playoff goals . . .
