Two of the top teams in the NHL face off when the No. 3 Lightning (34-16-5, 73 points) visit the No. 1 Predators (35-12-6, 76 points) at Bridgestone Arena. This marks the first of two meetings between these clubs in 2014-15; they will close the season series on March 26 at Amalie Arena. Nashville has won four of the past five matchups between these teams dating to Dec. 15, 2009, and boasts a 5-4-1 all-time home record in the head-to-head series, including three straight victories. Overall, the Predators have won four of their past five outings. They also rank second in the NHL in home wins (21) and points (43) this season, behind only Tampa Bay (22-5-1, 45 points). The Lightning, meanwhile, are 4-1-1 in their past six starts, including a 5-3 victory over the No. 2 Ducks (34-13-7, 75 points) in their most recent outing on Sunday.

WINNIPEG, MINNESOTA JOCKEY FOR WILD CARD POSITIONING
Two clubs in the thick of the Western Conference Wild Card race battle for positioning when the Jets play host to the Wild at MTS Centre. At 27-18-10 (64 points), Winnipeg currently occupies the first Wild Card spot in the conference. Minnesota (26-20-6, 58 points) is the first team on the outside of the playoff picture, trailing Vancouver (29-20-3, 61 points) by three points for the final berth. This marks the fourth of five meetings between these clubs in 2014-15; the Wild are 2-0-1 in the first three games and boast a 6-1-2 record in their past nine matchups dating to Feb. 16, 2012 (WPG: 3-4-2). The teams will close their season series on April 6 at MTS Centre. Overall, the Wild have won a season-high six consecutive games, while the Jets snapped a six-game skid (0-4-2) in their most recent contest on Sunday (5-3 W vs. COL).

SEGUIN (AGAIN) RETURNS TO BOSTON
Tyler Seguin, the No. 2 overall selection by the Bruins in the 2010 NHL Draft, again returns to Boston when the Stars visit the Bruins at TD Garden. Seguin played his first three NHL seasons in Boston, totaling 56-65—121 in 203 games and capturing the Stanley Cup in 2010-11 (his rookie campaign). Since being acquired by the Stars in a July 2013 trade, he has posted 66-77—143 in 133 contests and shares the League lead with 29-30—59 this season. This marks Seguin’s second trip back to Boston; he scored in the shootout and logged 22:01 of ice-time in a 3-2 victory on Nov. 5, 2013.

“It’s different this time,” Seguin told the Dallas Morning News of his return to Boston. “You can feel that.”
