ROBERTSON, SEGUIN HELP STARS STAY HOT AT AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER
Jason Robertson (0-2—2) collected two assists to extend his home point streak to eight games (4-7—11) and Tyler Seguin notched one of the Stars’ seven goals as Dallas improved to 9-1-0 in their last 10 home games dating to Nov. 16.

* Dallas owns a 30-8-4 all-time record against Minnesota at American Airlines Center. The Stars’ .714 home win percentage against the Wild is their second-best mark against any franchise, trailing only their record against the Ducks (46-12-6, .719 W%).

KAPRIZOV SETS WILD BENCHMARK WITH THREE-POINT OUTING

Kirill Kaprizov led the Wild with 1-2—3 Monday and boosted his 2021-22 totals to 12-24—36 (30 GP), surpassing Marian Gaborik’s franchise mark (18-16—34 in 30 GP) for the most points by a Wild skater through their first 30 games of a campaign.

* The performance marked Kaprizov’s fifth outing with at least three points this season – only Leon Draisaitl (10), Connor McDavid (6), Alex Ovechkin (6) and Nazem Kadri (6) have more.

* Kaprizov, who ranks fifth in the NHL in points, is leading Minnesota by a 10-point margin over the team’s next-highest contributor, Ryan Hartman (14-12—26 in 30 GP). CAPITALS, LIGHTNING EYE FIRST PLACE HEADING INTO HOLIDAY BREAK

The Capitals (18-6-7, 43 points) and Lightning (19-6-4, 42 points) each have a shot at moving into first place in the NHL heading into the Holiday Break. Washington needs one point in Philadelphia to overtake idle Carolina (21-7-1, 43 points), while the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning require a win – in a battle of division leaders – coupled with a loss by the Capitals.
