HELLEBUYCK APPROACHES FRANCHISE RECORDS IN ANOTHER HOME WIN
Connor Hellebuyck made 25 saves to post his fifth shutout of the season and help the Central Division-leading Jets (31-13-9, 71 points) extend their point streak to seven contests (5-0-2). Winnipeg moved within one point of the idle Golden Knights (34-13-4, 72 points) for first place in the Western Conference.

* Hellebuyck established a career high with his 27th win of the season (27-6-8 in 43 GP), second among all goaltenders behind Andrei Vasilevskiy (31). Only two goaltenders in Jets/Thrashers franchise history have posted more wins in a season: Kari Lehtonen (34) in 2006-07 in Atlanta and Ondrej Pavelec (29) in 2011-12 in Winnipeg.

* Hellebuyck shares second in the NHL with five shutouts in 2017-18, equaling Pavelec (5 in 2014-15; 50 GP) for the most in one season by a Jets/Thrashers goaltender.

* Hellebuyck extended his home point streak to eight games (7-0-1) and improved to 18-1-2 in 22 contests at Bell MTS Place in 2017-18 (2.00 GAA, .933 SV%, 4 SO).

* Did You Know? Only eight goaltenders in NHL history have finished a season with fewer than two regulation losses at home (min. 20 GP at home), with Patrick Roy standing as the only goaltender to play at least 20 home games in a season without recording a regulation loss on home ice (in 1988-89 w/ MTL; 30 GP). The others each had one regulation loss at home: Ken Dryden in 1976-77 w/ MTL (27 GP), Richard Sevigny in 1980-81 w/ MTL (24 GP), Bob Froese in 1985-86 w/ PHI (24 GP), Rick Wamsley in 1989-90 w/ CGY (21 GP), Chris Osgood in 1995-96 w/ DET (26 GP), Marty Turco in 2002-03 w/ DAL (29 GP) and Niklas Backstrom in 2006-07 w/ MIN (20 GP).

RASK EXTENDS PERSONAL STREAKS IN BRUINS VICTORY
David Pastrnak scored his second game-winning goal of the season and Tuukka Rask made 23 saves – including a highlight-reel stop in the second period – to lead the Bruins (31-11-8, 70 points) to their seventh victory in eight contests.

* Pastrnak extended his point streak to eight contests (4-6—10) to match Golden Knights forwardsDavid Perron (4-8—12) and Erik Haula (5-6—11) for the longest active run in the NHL. Pastrnak had a 12-game point streak from Nov. 22 – Dec. 18 that stands as the longest by any player in 2017-18.

* Rask extended his personal win streak to seven games, matching a career high. He has backstopped the Bruins to at least one point in each of his past 20 decisions dating to Nov. 29 (18-0-2), with his last regulation loss coming Nov. 26 against Edmonton – 71 days ago.

* This is the 15th instance in NHL history of a goaltender recording at least a point in 20 or more consecutive decisions. Of those, only five have occurred in the past 21 seasons and four have been achieved by a Bruins goaltender – including the top two such runs in League history.

STARS QUARTET CONTINUES TO FUEL OFFENSE
The line of Tyler Seguin (1-2—3), Jamie Benn (1-1—2) and Alexander Radulov (1-1—2) combined for 3-4—7 and defenseman John Klingberg notched an assist to power the Stars (30-19-4, 64 points) to their second straight victory.

* Klingberg, who continues to lead all defensemen in assists and points (6-44—50 in 53 GP), reached the 50-point mark for the second time in his career (10-48—58 in 2015-16). Klingberg, who sits three points shy of 200 in his career, joined Sergei Zubov (6x) Craig Hartsburg (4x) as the only defensemen in Stars/North Stars history to record multiple seasons of at least 50 points.

* Did You Know? At least one of Benn, Klingberg, Radulov or Seguin factored on four of six Starsgoals Saturday. Overall, at least one of the four players have been involved in 108 of 162 goals by the Stars this season (66.7%; excluding shootouts).

HUBERDEAU LIFTS PANTHERS WITH LATE GO-AHEAD GOAL
Jonathan Huberdeau (1-1—2) scored at 19:51 of the third period to break a 2-2 deadlock and lift the Panthers (22-22-6, 50 points) to their third consecutive victory.

* Huberdeau became the seventh player to score a go-ahead goal in the final minute of the third period this season and just the third to do so with fewer than 10 seconds remaining (also Jay Beaglew/ WSH and Shea Theodore w/ VGK). Vincent Trocheck (19:55 at STL on Feb. 20, 2017) is the only player in franchise history to score a go-ahead goal with less time on the clock.

* Aaron Ekblad (1-1—2), the first overall pick by the Panthers in the 2014 NHL Draft, netted his 10th goal of the season to become the first defenseman in franchise history to begin his career with four consecutive 10-goal seasons. In fact, only two forwards have started their NHL career with at least four straight seasons of 10+ goals for the Panthers (Radek Dvorak: 1995-00 and Nathan Horton: 2003-10).

METROPOLITAN DIVISION STAYS TIGHT WITH HEAD-TO-HEADS, LATE DRAMA

The Devils (27-16-8, 62 points) and Islanders (26-22-5, 57 points) each defeated a divisional rival and the Flyers (24-19-9, 57 points) salvaged a crucial point to keep pace in the Metropolitan Division, where eight teams are separated by just 10 points:

* Travis Zajac tallied 2-1—3 as the Devils defeated the Penguins (29-22-3, 61 points) and leapfrogged the club into second place in the division. The Devils earned their third consecutive victory to move within three points of the Capitals (30-16-5, 65) for first place in the Metropolitan.

* Jaroslav Halak (46 saves) fell one stop shy of his career high as the Islanders defeated the Blue Jackets (27-21-4, 58 points) to move within one point of them for the first Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. Mathew Barzal (0-2—2) pushed his season totals to 16-37—53 in 53 GP to inch closer to joining Bryan Trottier (32-63—95 in 1975-76) and Mike Bossy (53-38—91 in 1977-78) as the only Islanders rookies to record 60+ points in a season.

* Nolan Patrick tied the game with 2.6 seconds remaining in regulation to help the Flyers earn a point against the Senators and maintain the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. It marked the 20th time this season that a team scored a tying goal in the final minute of regulation – second by Philadelphia – and fourth within the final 10 seconds (also Mikko Koivu w/ MIN, Evander Kane w/ BUF and Ryan Dzingel w/ OTT).
